A short poem about a treasure chest resting at the bottom of the sea.
Beneath ever rolling waves of silver light
A treasure chest slumbers,
Shipwrecked.
Its only treasure now rainbow fish
Pirouetting in their casket house.
Surging waters swamp seaweed-tinted wood,
Battering barnacle nails.
Tide forgotten.
