A recap of last night's Toronto/Boston game.
The Toronto Blue Jays lost a heartbreaker yesterday 9-8 to the Boston Red Sox.

Teoscar Hernandez got things going at the top of the second inning when he hit a solo home run.

In the bottom of the second, J.D. Martinez tied the game with a solo home run.

Then, later in the inning, Jackie Bradley Jr. hit a two run homer,

The Sox went ahead 4-1 when Bobby Dalbec hit a solo home run.

At the top of the fourth inning, Travis Shaw drove in Rowdy Tellez with a double.

The Red Sox went ahead 6-2 in the bottom of the fourth when Rafael Devers doubled in Dalbec and Alex Verdugo.

At the top of the sixth inning, Vladmir Guerrero Jr. hit a three run homer to closed the gap at 6-5.

At the top of the seventh inning, the Jays scored three runs to go ahead 8-6.

In the bottom of the seventh, Devers hit a solo home run.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Xander Bogarts tied the game with a solo home run.

Later in the ninth, Christian Vazquez scored on a fielder's choice to win the game for Boston.

Devers finished the night with three RBIs.

Boston's starting pitcher, Ryan Weber, went five innings, allowing five hits, two earned runs, a walk, and struck out two batters.

Guerrero Jr. went 1 for 3 at the plate and had three RBIs.

Toronto's starter, Chase Anderson, went four innings, allowing nine hits, six earned runs, a walk, and struck out three batters.
