It is about my late husband who had a major stroke.
Stroke is an Intruder

Stroke, you are an intruder--
you invaded our marriage,
took away my man.
I hurt. I cry.
I just want my spouse back like he was
but deep down
I know he might not
be the same.
I hurt more.
I cry more.
I feel more all alone.
No one seems to care,
to understand.
You don't know him.
He didn't deserve this cold,
cold treatment.
So why-- Why my man?
Just bring him back to me
like he was
before you came into our lives.
Stroke, do you think you have us beat?
NO, for we will rise
will rise above you
bigger than you can ever imagine.
