Timely mediation can avert their falling apart
DFFC Prompt for 9/9: Write a story that includes the words: stop, word, act

John and Jenny tending to fall apart

"Of late John and Jenny are falling apart, looks like they're in for trouble of sorts" walking with John at the park.I can't bear his silence he is not like this, let me try to talk to him" I felt.

"Hey John, stop brooding on the issue, act fast, have a word with Jenny"

"Will she come around , do you think she doesn't have an ax to grind?" he said thinking I already knew about it.

"I think so, I know Jenny is my pall from school days, she won't have an thing like that" assured him with confidence I could thrash it out , whatever it be.

"I'm afraid, she's still vexed and unhappy with me"

"Why do you imagine things, why not it be other way like I think? Have you heard of the saying :A stitch in time saves nine?. All you need to do now is to meet her immediately, before she gets hardened. Stop your dilemma, act fast, meet and have a word with her" I insisted.

Lo Jenny's on line! "Hello Jenny, what's up there, I couldn't see at school, have you prepared your team? Hope they're doing well at practice sessions. My greetings to them"

"Yes I too feel, we're so rare being in the same school! Can we meet some time?"
"Sure, why not? I love to meet" assured as I hung the line.

"Hey dude, what a pleasant coincidence! Jenny spoke now, she wants to meet. You accompany me. I will square up your issues, whatever they be... stop brooding, act fast, have a word with her" I offered to help.

"Ok, we will. Can we talk later? " he wound up our conversation without expecting reply walking to his car to drive back home.
