We will always remember September because of 9/11. A tribute to this event.
In September we remember loss,
As buildings belched flames and ashy showers,
Smiles turned to sobs from the enemy’s tawse,
While heroes charged into the two towers.

Soft smoke billowed from the mangled metal,
While firemen sought for life midst the rubble.
A flag flapped as dust began to settle,
As one, their anger boiled and bubbled.

Vowing to never forget that dreary day,
Tears sparkled as on every heart it weighed.
