A recap of last night's New York Yankees/Toronto game.
The Toronto Blue Jay's bats were silent last night as the New York Yankees won 12-1.

The Yankees went ahead 2-0 at the top of the second inning.

Aaron Hicks drove in Aaron Judge with a single.

Then, Hicks scored on a wild pitch.

The Yankees went ahead 3-0 at the top of the fourth inning when Gio Urshela drove in Gleyber Torres with a single.

In the bottom of the fourth, Cavan Biggio hit a solo home run.

At the top of the fifth inning, Judge drove in Kyle Higashioka with a single,

Later that same inning, Hicks hit a two run single.

Then, Torres drove in Hicks with a single.

At the Top of the eighth inning, Brett Gardiner drove in Urshela with a single to put the Yanks. ahead 8-1.

Higashioka then hit a two run double.

At the top of the ninth inning, Torres drove in Judge with a single.

Then, Urshela drove in Mike Tauchman with a single.

Hicks went two for four at the plate and had three RBIs.

Yankee's starting pitcher, Garrit Cole, had a good night on the mound.

Cole pitched seven innings, allowing five hits, an earned run, no walks, and struck out seven batters.

Jay's starter, Tanner Roark, wasn't at his best last night.

Roark went 4.1 innings, allowing seven hits, six earned runs, no walks, and struck out four batters.

Game Three is tonight.
