My heart filled with sadness,
would HE take me back?
Forgive my shame and
heal my pain?
I read his word,
through bloodshot eyes.
Their meaning lost
on this troubled mind.
Anxiety is all I feel,
I wonder if my thoughts are real. Depression settles in.
I don’t know who I am.
The word then jumps of the page Glad to combat me
My heart empties and refills
Joy of life HIS word reveals.
