The Ticket: A Purpose

A political poem - hopefully suitable for the debates.

Upon conceiving what’s at stake,
With the policies avowed
And the details announced

With the unjust volatility
Of candor,
And the vehement address
Of scrutiny...

As the unknown deeds echo,
And the perilous distortions voice
Troublesome denials...

Most judges shall wisely hold
A statement to be
So blatantly reprehensible...

That it is their sworn duty
To vote as they had already decided

Long before this structured
And challenging debate. 

Meanwhile, massive spins shall preclude
A wild conjecture regarding
Constitutional values and scope -

And America shall potently inject
Some stubborn and lasting compromise
Into this foggy debate.
