The beginning of NaNoWriMo Prep assignment 1

What if a young woman exists in two different worlds, one in the human realm here on earth and one in the fantasy realm where monsters such as Yetis, Mothman, fairies, goblin-like creatures and such live. The hierarchy of the fantasy realm exists delicately in balance between the light and the dark energies there.

What if suddenly, there is a shift in the delicate nature that brings the course of that fantasy world crashing in on our world here on earth. Suddenly the ocassional slip from creatures on that world start appearing in ours, then the number of slips start increasing as the fighting grows stronger between the dark and light. Soon they are on a collision course straight toward earth because the frequency of that world was of a plane very close to this one and they are altering that frequency closer towards ours here on earth.

What if this young woman is half human, half dragon and is one of the powerful dragons on the other world. She’s very unique in that she can shapeshift, only few in the past have been able to do so and to turn into a human has been unheard of. She was unaware she could shapeshift and finds out throughout the course of the story.

What if this young woman is up against other powerful dragons, with not so nice tendencies that when they discover a great injustice, which is her existence, they start the war that brings the worlds on a collision course. The dragons that are against here, the Tribe, want to destroy earth because of her very existence. She is hunted in that world, like Athena, the huntress, but she survives with the help of some long lost family and a friends.

What if this young woman here on earth had a best friend who had always thought she was a little weird but loved that about her. They had been best friends all their lives, and he had for a long wondered where she went when she disappeared for days at a time. She said she was visiting family but then she would come back with these stories. Until one day her ‘adoptive’ family heard her and forbade her from speaking about where she went.

What if this young ladies name was Grey and she was the most powerful dragon in the other world.
