A poem describing spring.
|Leave it to the rain to bring new life again,
Buds blossoming through damp earth, pushing to the light,
Breaking the bonds of winter’s protracted reign,
As the last vestiges of bitter cold take flight.
Leave it to the sun to warm the flower’s face,
As bees buzz, hovering around every bloom,
Plants reach up, leaves spreading to the sun’s embrace,
Growing out of the soil, which is nature’s womb.
Leave it to the breeze to whisper through the trees,
As a pair walk, with hands joined, hearts in utter ease.
