It is meant to be an emotional poem that can be applied to many life situations.
I can hear the whispers on the wind
Sounding as if I committed some sin
I try to ignore the best I can
But you know how it is when dealing with man

Sometimes compassion comes with the fashion
Other times it’s personalities clashing
What to do I wish I knew
Because every turn goes wrong around you

I can hear the whispers on the wind
Judging without truly knowing
The whole story that exists inside
For some what mistake as pride
Is only pain buried inside

So tell me what to do
Because every turn is wrong with you
And when I do break
Break I will
I will walk away from you

I can hear the whispers on the wind
Not caring if I hear them talkin
It’s like it’s all they live for
Judging on some imagined sin
So to the start I will begin

I hear the whispers on the wind
The footsteps that follow
But everything is buried deep
And my secrets I will fight to keep
If you push me to make that leap

So tell me what to do
Because every turn is wrong with you
And sooner or later one of us will be through
It will be me first not you
