27 lines:Trijan Refrain attempt for Writers Cramp.
I loved you because I couldn't see
The person that you were
I had so much hope the misery
Would pass us I was sure
Searching the tangle aimlessly, frantically
The undergrowth the greenery
Tiny flowers
Tiny flowers
Was all you would ever give to me

I kept the children quietly
So to not disturb the beast
Who would react so violently
To the gentle bloom of peace
Anger, beating, silent weeping, cries
Children's hearts leaking out of their eyes
Slowly wilting
Slowly wilting
Desperation, depravation secret family ties

I knew you would never let me go
When they took the children away
They couldn't take the unborn though
I had to find another way
So I took the leaves from a special tree
Ground them into a herbal remedy
With tiny flowers
With tiny flowers
That took your breath away and set us free
