A day in this, my own world, is not that okay
It is sad and hard, and solo – what can I say?
I miss what I had way back, I miss what I lost
Not a thought for anything – what about a cost?
My past is a litany of things I did do
Good and bad, happy and sad – stuff that all go through
I did hurt way too many which is a worry
Didn’t know ‘til almost now, for which I’m sorry
All of this I do admit, so why not own up?
My failings, what bad I did. all fill my world’s cup.
