Kingdom of Quietude

I hear Your voice within & I am led to peace and confidence.

I hear You within.
Such power You wield.
You fold my heart
into an origami duck,
only to release it
into the wild
as a free-floating dove
caught on a breeze.

Silvery wings of love
shimmer of peace
in the face of
the enemy opposing.
A song of delight
coos strongholds away.
A new belief, beheld,
with each fair flight.

A faith not defiled
by mistakes or fear.
A key to the
Kingdom of quietude,
a gift from Jesus
to all those who might believe
on His name.
