Prompt Words: buoy, tears, waves, adrift, lighthouse, sirens, port, lost
Adrift on a dark and storm tossed sea,
I heard fear's sirens calling me,
Their songs were echoed by the waves,
Breaking on the rocks of sailors graves.

On the cliff above the churning sea,
A lighthouse beacon beckoned me,
To search for the buoys that mark,
The safest passage through the dark.

Salvation's port lay just beyond,
The breaker's rocks and sirens songs,
White buoys marked the narrow passage,
That my tears of fear assuaged.

Thank the Lord I was not lost,
Upon life's dark and storm tossed sea:
God's Glorious Light beckoned me,
While faith's bright buoys guided me.
