As we wake this morning
Let's be thankful we see another morning even if you are mourning
Know that day by day you will heal
It might not feel like it but you'll get through even if it doesn't seem real
Have faith they are where they are meant to be
And hold onto the fact someday again you will see

Let's be thankful even if it's lockdown and everyday is boring
At least we are free at night when we are snoring
Wake up early
Thinking surely things will be better soon
Have some faith nad think of those who are all still working
Through all this still breaking their back and putting the work in


As we wake this morning
Let's be thankful for our health
And not think of our lack of wealth
Happiness is a state of mind
Remind your young this
Teach them not to get distressed from a diss
Nad every night give them a kiss
So they know they are loved
Also teach them not to let themselves be shoved around
Watch what you say in front of them they listen to every sound
