| The gift of inspiration From the highest Heavens Is now incorrigible, sparse, And invariably wild. A righteous chord has been slammed, Its rawness and emotion in utter contempt. And the sparkle envelopes victims In a rueful and dire awakening. Those epic analyses may dissipate Into a rebuke; The privileged and forecasted right To voice concerns May fall barren Amid a moral wasteland. Poise may condition and coalesce Into a scrimmage During a Biden administration’s Newly-minted, dark path. And oblivious to pop culture, Republicans may present Some legally persuasive realities To tear away at the rise Of a disjointed and alarming ideology. |
