Will You See Me

Online baffles me at times. Not much seems to last or shows trust. Maybe I am too trusting

When you see me
As you are seeing me now
I have only two dimensions
And yet...

If you would see me
Not through a screen
But looking AT me
You would see my depth

In my eyes are integrity...
Empathy and care
About my fellow man
About you...honesty and love

But these attributes fall short
On those whose eyes only see
My length and breadth
But not the depth of my being

With only two dimensions to judge
To assume is perfectly natural
And so, I must be happy
If you see me at all
