Who Will Fight

The struggle for those with Autism or Adhd

They scream Black Lives Matter
I weep for the years they have lost.
The LGBT bring rainbow banners
I see what this has cost

The adverts cry for children
In countries far away
No food no clean water.
For schooling, who will pay?

What of the child who lives here?
Who doesn’t quite fit in;
He cries himself to sleep at night.
Who stands up for him?

No adverts to show his pain.
How he doesn’t understand
The right things to say,
As from social circles he's banned.

Does he have the same rights?
As all those crying on the street
Each one pleading on TV
Who will fight for a child in defeat?
