Are you even listing God?
|They say you grant when we greet,
They say you punish when we greed.
They say you lift when we are low,
they say you nourish as we grow.
They say you play a fair game,
they told us to rumble your name.
They say you punish for our sins,
They told us to believe as you can't be seen,
They say you can hear, you can heal,
They say you are here, you can feel.
Oh lord, but can you feel!?
"Oh lord" they Scream, when you don't seem to feel,
"Oh lord," they weep when you punish them for their greed,
"Oh lord," they stutter, when you steal their summer,
Oh lord! why can't you see, the world is not what it suppose to be.
Oh lord! why can't you feel all the sorrow, all the grief, and the misery of all those who weep?
Is this the punishment that we deserve? cause my prayers don't seem to work,
Your books don't seem to cease and I can't feel you in the breeze,
Oh lord! can you look down on us, we need a vow so we can believe,
Cause we need to believe that you are here for all our needs.
No one knows, why you can't hear our cry,
No one knows, when you will hear our cries.
Should I believe or should I cry?
oh lord! will you please tell me why?
