A recap of last night's Toronto/Sacramento game.
|Despite the slow start, the Toronto Raptors set a franchise record for scoring last night as the team steam rolled the Sacramento Kings 144-123.
"Obviously we didn't come out of the gate worth a darn," said Raptor's head coach Nick Nurse at the postgame press conference.
Nurse was right.
The Kings scored 43 points in the first quarter.
The Raptors got it together in the second half in a huge way.
Toronto were out on a vengeance in the second half.
"There was a lot more driving from multiple players," said Nurse.
The Raptors scored 40 points in the third quarter alone.
"Obviously we had a great night offensively," said Nurse.
The Raptors also had 20 three pointers last night.
Toronto's Fred VanVleet scored 34 points and Pascal Siakam had 12 assists.
Toronto heads to Golden State tomorrow night to face the Warriors.
