A poem I wrote about 2020 for English class.
It’s always darkest before the dawn,
when daylight ends and hope is gone.
Before we see the sunlight break,
There’s a couple steps we need to take.
Like avoiding people in Walmart,
holding jobs together when the world is apart.
When all the big crowds must disperse,
and all cars slow down for a passing hearse,
there’s always one thing that still remains,
Togetherness eases growing pains.
