Shots on goal in the first period were even at 11.
Leon Draisaitl closed the gap at 2-1 on the man advantage at 18:11 of the second period.
Draisaitl tied the game with a power play goal 7:00 into the third period.
Just 56 seconds later, Wayne Simmonds put Toronto ahead again with a power play goal.
Zack Kassian tied the game at 11:12.
"I didn't like the, (Edmonton's) third goal," said Keefe.
Auston Matthews scored the decisive goal at 13:37 on the man advantage.
Spezza had two points.
Edmonton's Connor McDavid had two assists last night.
Toronto plays Edmonton again tomorrow night.
