The wars among teammates at the highest levels - a sports poem.
|The most treasured bliss, and the games played together. |
Tried and true coaching through inclement weather.
The new ups and downs seem truly prescriptive;
The critiques and the shame are advanced, quite descriptive.
After the enemies, their teammates, they cream.
They once fought together, for wins, such a dream;
Champions forever, they fail - fall apart.
The latest disservice permits a new start.
Discussing adjustments with a free flowing plans;
Wearing them down for the glue which coach scans;
Daily and nightly, a proponent, a must -
Wishing that winning was simple and just.
