A poem about theater that I was going to use for a contest but forgot about
Binoculars are held as roles are played
Romance, treachery, and deadly nightshade
Evocative performance, the grand climax portrayed
And put the whole damn room on the edge of a blade
Knives of suspicion, a tyrant's tirade
Applause goes off like a grenade
Lights and stage, all man-made
Ecstatic fandom cavalcade
Glorious, this scripted yet wild escapade
