about conforming to beauty standards
I've never worn and outfit as uncomfortable as my skin.
but this was permanent,
I can't throw away my body,
I am stuck.

A blob of unsatisfactory flesh,
I found myself spilling out everywhere,
Taking up so much room.

Girls aren't supposed to do that.
Take up room.
We're supposed to be small and meek.
Confined to a glass cage of femininity.

But every time I look in the mirror the glass breaks,
and my flesh spills everywhere.
