Two crazy terms that I just had to write about.
| I just had to write about these two crazy terms that I saw at work. I work at a package delivery company. You know the one with the big arrow in it's name? Well every day at work thousands of packages come down conveyor belts awaiting delivery to anxious customers. Some amazing things come down those conveyor belts. Everything from Timothy hay for feeding bunny rabbits, guinea pigs, mice and other small rodents, and outdoor squirrel feed containing fruit and peanuts to heavy furniture that you assemble at home. Of course everything else under the sun also comes down those long belts too.
Two different things came those belts that really stuck into my mind. One was a toy in a big brightly colored pink box which read OMG. Now this isn't the OMG that you think it might be, and that you have always known it to be. It was toy dolls for little girls. In this case OMG stood for Outrageous Millennial Girls, and this crazy term really stuck in my head.
The other term which came down that belt was in the form of a food storage container. Written on this sturdy container made out of heavy duty plastic were the letters - IGBC. This container was certified by this group. IGBC refers to many various terms related to bank, Insurance companies, Automobiles, Finance, Mobile phones, software, computers,Traveling, School, Colleges, Studies, Health and other terms. This IGBC was one of those many other terms, and in this case IGBC refers to "The Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee". This heavy duty food storage container was certified to keep a bear out for up to one hour. Of course the bear could always carry the cooler off to try to open it again some where way off from the campsite way off in the distance.
Well I hope you learned a little something new here today, and if you haven't collected my trinket yet then all that you have to do is click on the picture below.
