Just so tired...

Done

So done with whiners mouthing
excuses and platitudes.
Always someone else's fault --
they are never to blame
for their own shortcomings.

So quick to judge others,
to act so high and mighty,
as they peer down from their
self-designed pedestals,
having forgotten their binoculars.

The complaints grow tiresome
and, frankly, boring. Same
old, same old, weeks in and out.
Oft repeated apologies have become
nothing but forked-tongue words.

Like a broken record skipping,
repeating trite phrases:
on infinite loop. Blue-faced,
we must step away. Change
is a choice. They won't; we will.
