Hush


Infant moon, mere cuticle.
Finger thinking about pointing.

Cheshire cat grin, the stars
but a myriad of thoughts behind the chortle.

Not enough moon to shadow,
just enough to catch raccoon eyes.

Shallow spoon of milky gold;
a sip of celestial soup.

Can you hear the orchestrations
of the universe? Then, hush. Listen.
