A recap of last night's New York Yankees/Toronto Game One.
Despite a stellar performance by pitcher, Robbie Ray, the Toronto Blue Jays lost 3-1 last night to the New York Yankees.

The Blue Jays opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning when Bo Bichette scored on a routine ground out.

At the top of the fifth inning, though, Kyle Higashioka put the Yankees up 2-1 with a two run homer.

At the top of the eighth inning, Higashioka hit a solo home run.

Higashioka went two for three at the plate and had three RBIs.

Yankee's starting pitcher, Gerrit Cole had a really good night on the mound.

Cole went six innings, allowing just three hits, an earned run, a walk, and struck out eight batters.

Ray went five innings, allowing just three hits, two earned runs, three walks, and struck out three batters.

Game two is tonight.
