|Port of Montreal dockworkers are set to go on strike this Monday.
The union that represents the dockworkers have issued a 72 hour notice to the Maritime Employer Association, (MEA).
1,150 port workers will be in strike position as of Monday at 7 a.m., barring a last minute reprieve.
The workers have been on overtime strike and refused to work on weekends since April 17 and 18.
The strike is over changes in work shifts that the MEA wants to impose on Monday.
The MEA wants a quick resolution.
The dockworkers have been without a contract since December of 2018.
