A recap of last night's Toronto/Winnipeg game.
It was a solid win for the Toronto Maple Leafs last night as the Buds defeated the Winnipeg Jets 4-1.

At the postgame press conference, Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe said he was happy with the contribution from all for lines.

"It's a solid team win," said Keefe.

Winnipeg struck first just 39 seconds into the game when Nikolaj Ehlers scored.

Joe Thornton tied the game at 4:04 of the first period.

Toronto went ahead 2-1 when Mitch Marner scored at 11:40.

Toronto went ahead 3-1 at 7:07 of the second period with a goal by John Tavares.

Alex Kerfoot scored an empty netter at 18:03 of the third period.

Toronto's Justin Holl was +3 last night.

Winnipeg's goalie, Connor Hellebuyk stopped 33 shots last night.

Toronto has three days off before playing Montreal on Wednesday night.
