A recap of yesterday's Toronto/Tampa Bay game.
The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Tampa Bay Rays yesterday 1-0, winning the three game weekend series.

"It was a great game," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo at the postgame press conference.

Unfortunately, Jay's starting pitcher, Hyun-Jin Ryu had to exit the game early with a glute injury.

Ryu went just 3.2 innings, allowing three hits, no earned runs, a walk, and struck out five batters.

The Blue Jays scored the game's lone run at the top of the fifth inning when Santiago Espinal drove in Marcus Semien with a single.

Espinal went two for four at the plate and had a RBI.

Tampa's Kevin Kiemaier went two for four at the plate.

Ray's starting pitcher, Luis Patino went 2.2 innings, allowing no hits, no earned runs, a walk, and struck out three batters.

Toronto hosts the Washington Nationals in Dunedin, Florida tomorrow night.
