Unfortunately, Jay's starting pitcher, Hyun-Jin Ryu had to exit the game early with a glute injury.
Ryu went just 3.2 innings, allowing three hits, no earned runs, a walk, and struck out five batters.
The Blue Jays scored the game's lone run at the top of the fifth inning when Santiago Espinal drove in Marcus Semien with a single.
Espinal went two for four at the plate and had a RBI.
Tampa's Kevin Kiemaier went two for four at the plate.
Ray's starting pitcher, Luis Patino went 2.2 innings, allowing no hits, no earned runs, a walk, and struck out three batters.
Toronto hosts the Washington Nationals in Dunedin, Florida tomorrow night.
