A recap of last night's Toronto/Montreal game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs clinched a playoff spot last night after defeating the Montreal Canadiens 4-1.

"We feel like a playoff team for quite along time," said Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe at the postgame press conference.

Keefe, however, said the team still had to accomplish it, (clinching a playoff spot).

Leaf's William Nylander scored just 1:38 into the game.

Toronto went ahead 2-0 when Austin Matthews scored his 35th goal of the season at 8:44 of the first period.

Jake Muzzin put the Leafs ahead 3-0 at 6:27 of the second period.

Nick Suzuki scored Montreal's lone goal at 15:15.

Adam Brooks scored at 8:15 of the third period.

Leaf's goalie, Jack Campbell stopped 32 shots last night.

Toronto hosts the Vancouver Canucks tonight.
