Chivalry

Coupled, they brave the storm
and critical exposure.
Strangers. Forced to form
an intimate enclosure.

Under its salvo, they
press quivering bods together
to limit the foray
of such unholy weather.

Embedded thus, they dare defy
the higher forces. Yet
his chivalry is impotent.
For nature soaks her wet.
