A recap of last night's Toronto/Montreal game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs needed just a point last night o win the North Division title.

That is exactly what Toronto did as the Leafs defeated the Montreal Canadiens last night 3-2.

Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe credited good goaltending and defence for this year's success at last night's post game press conference.

Montreal's Brett Kulak opened the scoring at 3:34 of the first period.

Montreal went up 2-0 with a goal by Nick Suzuki just 31 seconds into the second period.

Pierre Engvall scored at 6:02.

William Nylander tied the game at 13:36.

Mitch Marner put the Leafs ahead 3-2 at 16:33.

There was no scoring in the third period, but shots on goal were 12-6 for Toronto.

The Leafs hosts the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night.
