Sung to the tune Cool anymore
"five or six years later"
Sung to the tune
Cool anymore

We hold our parties, work the room with a smile
and we're the life of the party's of our friends
we roll our eyes when they tell us that we're the perfect couple
yeah we are all that with all of them
_
but you don't show me your lust anymore
show me the animal nobody else knows
Your love keeps me safe and warm
lose the mask, I see through the smoke
save civility for the rest of the world
come on lover make my head swirl
cause you must know that I'm totally yours
Please release the beast once more
lust for me more
_
so we go to the school play with your boys like we aught to
and we make love like there is nothing wrong
but I know you and I know when we go home
We won't be rolling the kitchen floor all night long
_
Cause you don't show me your lust anymore
show me the animal nobody else knows
Your love keeps me safe and warm
lose the mask, I see through the smoke
save civility for the rest of the world
come on lover make my head swirl
cause you must know that I'm totally yours
Please release the beast once more
lust for me more
_
We make love slow and sweet
But what we've lost is the consuming heat
[her]I hold you I mold you I bend you to my will
[him]I tease you I please you I bend you to my will
But I really miss the beast
_
But you don't show me your lust anymore
show me the animal nobody else knows
Your love keeps me safe and warm
lose the mask, I see through the smoke
save civility for the rest of the world
come on lover make me head swirl
cause you must know that I'm totally yours
Please release the beast once more
lust for me more
