The Path

Finding Peace in Ups and Downs

I walk a path of righteousness.
I walk a path of fear.
For all of it is part of me.
It's all that I can hear.

The suffering around us.
As plentiful as smiles.
We must accept the whole of it.
To truly walk the miles.

For it will never leave us,
the hardships and the pain.
They are part of our experience.
They deserve love just the same.

So smile at all moments,
for everyone knows tears.
We only hold each other back,
by avoiding all our fears.

We shall welcome them as friends,
We shall welcome them with Love,
and after time has passed as such,
We are welcomed from above.
