A recap of last night's Toronto/Montreal Game Three
The Toronto Maple Leafs has taken 2-1 first-round series lead after defeating the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 last night.

There was no scoring in the first period.

The Leafs scored first in the second period with a goal by William Nylander at 7:18.

Nick Suzuki tied the game at 13:56.

Morgan Rielly scored the winning goal at 16:35.

Shots on goal in the second period was 20-8 Toronto.

There was no scoring in the third period, but shots on goal were 15-2 Montreal.

Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe was pleased with his team's defence last night.

"Our guys defended real hard," said Keefe at the postgame press conference.

The series continues in Montreal tonight.
