Gingerly, tenderly
I hold you
feel your smoth contours
Breathe in your freshness
a delicate scent
of a baby's breath.

No sharp edges
waiting to taunt
no harsh words
readying to assault

Ubiquitous
Nascent

I long to carry you
as you carried me
We have changed though,
We look upon each other
with different eyes

Gingerly, tenderly
I hold you
As I turn over a new leaf
start a new chapter
