writer's cramp / flash fiction
In the days when news was disseminated as ink on acid pulp paper, dog bites man wasn't news, but man bites dog was. These were the days before rational diet.
Believe me or not, but people used to eat a substance known as Pink Slime. The scraps of meat that were left on the bones, were blasted off the bones to make a meat slurry, this was mixed with Ammonia to kill off the bacteria that would grow on it. This Pink Slim was then had its flavour masked with Saltpetre, Paprika, or Garlic.
This was then formed into sausages, it would then be cooked with an inferred
light, to make the outside brown. It would then be served in a wheat bread blanket, coated in Mallard reacted Onions.
Man bites Hot dog that would be news today.
