There was no more scoring until the bottom of the seventh inning when Andrew Vaughn hit a solo home run.
The White Sox scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.
First, Jose Abreu scored on a sacrifice fly by Vaughn.
Adam Eaton drove in Yerman Mercedes with a single to put Chicago ahead 3-1.
Leury Garcia hit two run triple.
Then, Garcia scored on a sacrifice fly by Tim Anderson.
Garcia went two for four at the plate and had two RBIs.
White Sox's starting pitcher, Carlos Rondon went five innings, allowing six hits, an earned run, two walks, and struck out eight batters.
Toronto's Bo Bichette went two for three at the plate.
Jay's starting pitcher, Robbie Ray went 6.1 innings, allowing five hits, an earned run, no walks, and struck out 13 batters.
