A recap of yesterday's Seattle/Toronto Game Three
|Toronto Blue Jay's pitcher, Hyun-Jin Ryu didn't have a good start yesterday as his team was hammered 7-2 by the Seattle Mariners.
"His, (Ryu), command wasn't there," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo at the postgame press conference.
Ryu lasted just four innings and allowed four earned runs
The Mariners went ahead 2-0 at the top of the first inning.
Marcus Semien made it a 2-1 game with a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning.
Jake Fraley put the Mariners up by two runs again with a solo home run at the top of the second inning.
Shed Long Jr. made it 5-1 Seattle with a two run homer at the top of the third inning.
At the top of the ninth inning, Kyle Seager and Jake Bauer hit RBI singles.
Seager and Long Jr. had two RBIs last night.
Seattle's starting pitcher, Yusel Kikuchi pitched seven innings, allowing an earned run, and struck out six batters.
Semien was the lone Blue Jay that had success at the plate yesterday, going three for four.
The Jays kick off a three game series with the Tampa Bay Rays tonight.
