Did you know
Delaware doesn’t even have a mountain?

Have you ever
Tried to climb a hill
Only to found it was near something
And didn’t really have a name.

I unlaced barely used
Hiking shoes.

Barely winded
From the climb
That didn’t happen,
I took a drink
And climbed back into
My Subaru Outback.

Whatever magic
Delaware holds,
It isn’t for me.
