|Toronto Blue Jay's pitcher, Hyun-Jin Ryu had a solid outing last night in a 7-2 win over the Cleveland Indians.
It was Ryu's first start at Roger's Centre.
Ryu pitched seven innings, allowing just two earned runs, and struck out eight batters.
Toronto's George Springer and Teoscar Hernandez hit home runs.
Hernandez went three for three at the plate and had three RBIs.
Springer and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. both scored on sacrifice flies.
Springer finished the night with two RBIs.
At the postgame press conference, Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo was impressed with his team's pitching last night.
"The pitching was outstanding," said Montoyo.
Cleveland's Bobby Bradley and Harold Ramirez both hit RBI doubles.
Bradley went two for four at the plate.
Cleveland's starting pitcher, Zach Plesac, struggled on the mound last night.
Plesac pitched five innings, allowing 10 hits, and six earned runs.
Game Three is tonight.
