Boston went ahead 2-0 at the top of the fifth inning.
In the bottom of the inning, though, the Jay's offence exploded.
Randal Grichuk, Breyvic Valera, and Teoscar Hernandez all hit doubles in the fifth.
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a two run homer to put the Jay's ahead 7-2.
Tensions arise later in the inning when Grichuk was hit by a wild pitch by Red Sox reliever, Hansel Robles.
Both benches almost clear.
When things cooled down, George Springer drove in two more runs with a ground rule double.
At the top of the sixth inning, Boston's Hunter Renfroe hit a two run homer to make it a 9-4 game.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, Springer hit a RBI triple.
Hernandez scored on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Hernandez went three for five and had three RBIs.
Jay's starting pitcher, Alek Monoah pitched five innings and allowed just two earned runs.
Renfroe had two RBIs.
Boston's Nathan Eovaldi lasted just 4.2 innings, allowing six hits and seven earned runs.
Boston is now 2-8 in their last 10 games.
The two teams play a double header starting this afternoon.
