A recap of last night's Toronto/Seattle Game Two.
|The Seattle Mariners made a surge in the late innings last night to hammer the Toronto Blue Jays 9-3.
Ty France put the Mariners up 2-0 in the bottom of the first inning with a two run homer.
At the top of the second innings, Teoscar Hernandez hit a solo home run.
Then, at the top of the third inning, Hernandez hit a RBI single to tie the game 2-2.
There was a really scary moment for the Jays in the bottom of the seventh inning.
George Springer injured his left ankle chasing after a fly ball.
Thankfully, Springer just suffered a mild sprain and probably be out for just two games.
Down 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Luis Torrens hit a three run homer.
Then, later in the inning, Jared Kelenic hit a solo home run.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Abraham Toro hit a RBI single.
Later in the inning, Torren hit a two run double.
Torren went two for four and had five RBIs.
Mariner's starting Pitcher, Yuei Kikuchi pitched 4.1 innings, allowing three earned runs, and struck out five batters.
Toronto's Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went three for five at the plate.
Hernandez went three for four at the plate.
Jay's starting pitcher, Hyun-Jin Ryu pitched 6.1 innings, allowing four earned runs.
The Jays try to avoid the sweep later this afternoon.
