|The Toronto Blue Jays completed their dismal road trip with a 8-5 loss to the Washington Nationals yesterday.
Juan Soto kicked things off with a three run homer in the bottom of the first inning.
Teoscar Hernandez homered at the top of the second inning.
Hernandez has homered in four straight games.
Marcus Semien homered at the top of the third inning.
Ryan Zimmerman hit a RBI single to put the Nationals ahead 4-2.
Corey Dickerson tied the game with a two run homer at the top of the seventh inning.
Semien hit another solo home run later that inning.
Josh Bell hit a three run homer in the borttom of the seventh.
Later in the inning, Carter Kieboom hit a solo home run.
Soto and Bell both had three RBIs.
National's starting pitcher, Josiah Gray pitched six innings and allowed just two earned runs.
Jay's syarting pitcher, Jose Berrios pitched five innings, allowing five hits.
The Jays bullpen allowed 10 runs in eight innings in the two game series.
At the postgame press conference, Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo said the pitching has to get better in order to win games.

The Jays are off today before beginning a three game home series with the Detroit Tigers.
