A recap of yesterday's Toronto/Detroit Game Three.
The Toronto Blue Jays finally won a series after defeating the Detroit Tigers 2-1 yesterday.

The entire three game series was low scoring.

Toronto's Bo Bichette had three hits, including, a first inning solo home run,.

Jay's rookie, Kevin Smith, hit his first ever Major League home run at the top of the fourth inning.

Jay's starting pitcher, Jose Berrios, had a solid outing on the mound.

Berrios pitched seven scoreless innings and struck out 11 batters.

Berrios now has 162 strikeouts this season.

Toronto's reliever, Tim Mayza., was flawless. He got the final four outs of the game and recorded the save.

Toronto , however, left 13 runners on base.

Tiger's Harold Castro hit a RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Tiger's starting pitcher, Matthew Boyd pitched four innings, allowing two earned runs, and struck out five batters.

The Tigers left eight runners on base.

Toronto begins a home series with the Baltimore Orioles tonight.
