A short poem.
Wind in the trees
Leaves flowing free
Sunlight rains
Down from the clouds
A crack in the sky
Grassy fields of green
With a few golden shrubs
From spring to summer
And fall to winter
White flurries fall from the heavens
The butterflies dance in the flowers
And birds sing their songs on the branches
Stinging hot sands of the beach
Muddy ground after rain
Musty smell with mildew of the morning
Orchards ripe with apples in late fall
More than enough cider to pass around
Sparkling paper-white snow
To waving snowmen on Christmas Eve
The things that nature provides
The beauty of the world
The warmth of the sun
And refreshing cool of night.
